【Important Notes】

1. Before use, soak the chasen in hot water (chasen-tōshi) to let it fully absorb moisture. After use, rinse with water and dry it well in a shaded, well-ventilated place. Please note that the decorative box is not intended for long-term storage. We recommend using a chasen holder (kusenaoshi) to maintain its shape.

2. The tips of the whisk are delicate and may occasionally break, sometimes ending up in the tea. Always check after soaking that the tips are supple and intact.

3. The curled tips will straighten after the first soaking, making it easier to whisk tea. Since the tips naturally tend to return inward, it is recommended to use a chasen holder to preserve the shape.

4. As natural materials are used, variations in colour, grain, or small marks may occur. These are not defects. Thank you for your understanding.

5. Chasen are consumables. Please replace it when it becomes cracked, mouldy, or when too many tips have broken off.
